The Hurricane Mk I, the true hero of the Battle of Britain, is the dogfighter of the Hurris. It may not be fast, but it can TURN! Know it by the brown and green camo paint scheme.
Firepower consists of the 1940 standard of eight .303 machine guns, so you need to get into convergence range to make your fire count. |

The Hurricane Mk IIC has a grey and green camo paint scheme, and a white spinner. It surrenders a little in turn & burn ability to gain serious firepower for knocking out bombers. The MkIIC can also carry drop tanks or bombs.
Firepower consists of four 20mm cannons, but the ammo supply is only 91 rds per gun. Firing them two at a time can stretch the ammo if you're a decent shot. |

The Hurricane Mk IID, a 'hurribuster' designed to take out armor with BIG guns, can be spotted by its red spinner and desert camo paint scheme. Staying out of this one's gunsite while it still has cannon ammo is a top priority, but once the cannons are gone it's not much more than a nuisance.
Firepower consists of HUGE 40mm Vickers S guns (only 15 rpg) and two .303 machine guns (mainly for lining up your shot). |
